I have had Braxton hicks since about 25 weeks. I am now 36 weeks and they are stronger and more frequent. I wanted to know should I time them? They do not hurt all the time but I do not want to ignore it and something is wrong. In addition, another question is with real contractions they are felt in the stomach and the vagina correct? Because all the contractions are just in the stomach. My Braxton hicks are about 30min apart and they have been ongoing since last night. Can I have responses and advice from women who have experience!

real contractions get stronger and closer together, if you have been experiencing these since last night I would guess they would be braxton hicks. Also w/ real contractions they usually start in your abdomen, and travel right around your hips to your back. Atleast mine did w/ all 3 labors. As far as the pain in the vagina, I have never really felt this w/ contractions, the only pain I have felt there was what they call lightening, when the baby's head presses on your cervix, and it sometimes sends a sharp shooting pain in your area there. Just relax, sometimes changing activity when you experience braxton hicks will make them go away so it isn't uncomfortable for you. Like if you are sitting or laying down, get up and do some housework or something or vice versa. Congrats to you and best of luck, not much longer!!!!

Sounds like Braxton Hicks contractions. If they look to be widespread, you will have to relaxation and drink a few water. The extra hydrated you're the fewer you'll have them. If you have been in early hard work, the contractions would not stop, they could simply maintain getting more potent. As a long way as the release, so long as there's no scent or some thing, it is typical. Your frame raises vaginal discharge in instruction for supply, it is going to occur via the relaxation of your being pregnant. The diarrhea was once mainly whatever you ate.

If you are already 36 weeks, you should get it checked. Could be labor. I had the same kind of thing at 29 weeks and got it checked...turned out I was in pre-term labor and already 3 cm dilated. Ended up in the hospital for 6 days to stop the contractions and then put on bed rest for 5 weeks until they ended up inducing me because the little booger decided she didn't want to come out anymore. Lol.

they are normal. BH increase in frequency and intensity in the last few weeks of pregnancy. Your body is getting ready for delivery, so consider it practice for the big day! Mention it to your dr, he may want you to keep a closer eye on them incase they get too close together. He may check you for dialation at your next appt, since you are nearing full term. Good luck!

Time them for a little while, and go for a walk if you're just sitting. If they get worse when you walk and/or are regularly spaced, you should give your doc a call for a head's up. If they go away when you change what you are doing, probably just BH. And for me, contractions were all belly til I got to feel the delightful "ring of fire"....don't ask, just wait, you'll get to feel it too.

Unless you are having more than 4 in an hour they are not cause for concern usually. Try changing your activity level. if you are resting-take a walk. if you are busy-take a nap. That usually will ase up BH. Or drink a large glass of water.
