Disney Channel. Disney's tainting the minds of children at a very young age. Then when they get a bit older, MTV adds more damage

I really like what Sarah C just said.
I think over the past 5-7 years, MTV is much more responsible for what's happening to music but over the 18 months I've noticed Disney really start to get bad, to the point where it's pathetic.

Disney produced some good music in it's day...
"Under the Sea", "Hakuna Matata", "A Whole New World"... /true/ classics...
OK, but in all seriousness, I'd have to say Disney are killing music more.
Can you even call people like that Montana girl musicians?
I don't watch TV much but as far as i know, MTV stopped playing music a /long/ time ago.
I don't know about in the states, but in the UK we have a main MTV, then like MTV Base, MTV Flux, MTV2. Those ones play music [crappy as they may be].

That's tough... I might say Disney, though. It seems like that station gets worse everyday. I remember when I was younger, which wasn't too long ago, and I loved to watch shows that were actually funny, like Even Stevens and such. But today, they have shows like Hannah Montana and That's So Raven where everyone thinks they're magically talented musicians.
But don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of MTV either.

hmm thats tough. id say that kids that grow up watching disney will like disney music like hanna montana or whatever and then mtv makes it even worse. mtv actually doesnt really play music anymore, just really stupid reality tv shows, but still it makes it worse.

MTV..its like lame as hell reality shows on all the time. Where the heck is all the music out thats not getting played.

MTV because it's suppose to be "Music Television" like someone said earlier, and they really don't play any music anymore, it's all about "reality" tv...
Disney .. they're just playing kiddy songs... no one really bothers to watch it, do they?
