Go shopping in the Bull Ring
Take in a show at the Hippodrome Theatre
Visit the Sea Life centre
The Millenium Point
Go go-karting at Birmingham Wheels
Or come to mine for a cuppa and a cake.
(the shopping will take up the day if your gf is anything like me, and the Bull Ring is massive.Don't forget to take your camera to have your piccy taken with the Bull like all the other tourists)

Shopping in the Bull Ring - they have all the designer stores including Selfridges.
Take a canal boat trip (Birmingham has more miles of canals than Venice) - and the Sea Life centre.
If you have time, go to Cadbury World!
Here are some more ideas:

You could go the Bullring or Mailbox for shopping and then for a meal! Pizza Hut or Nandos if on a budget and if not go to Brindley Place. The restaurants on the canal are great!
