the raiders are 2-2, with the defense they had last year and a new coaching staff that's not really a surprise, if they are in the hunt after this month i will say surprise. Steelers have too much talent to fail and Pitt has always made quality coaching decisions, so again no. the surprise team of the AFC is the Texans... 2-2 or not, with no help to the o- line they are vastly improved on offense. As for the NFC, Jon Kitna said 10 wins before the seson started, so where's the surprise, lot of talent in Detroit. Greenbay only because they are 4-0 but legit for sure. the Cardinals have lost two games by six total points. that sounds like siyuation normal to me. a lot of talent on both sides of this ball club, so .500 sounds about right. As for the disappointments... the Ravens are for sure, especially since they have a rejuvenated run game, the saints were overachievers last year, but this is bad, and the rams are digging into their practice squad at week four. the Chargers will bounce back in what is turning into a weak division but with Norv at the helm and Donnie Edwards in rival KC they were destined to slump. Talking about disappointments where are the Bears? SB appearence last year then they add a playmaking tight end and switch Devin Hester to offense, and they can't run they can't throw, they can't stay healthy on D... Bottom line they've gone from first to worst in two weeks. And where are the 3-1 Bucs in your list of surprises? aging D shakey receivers ad ground game headed up by an old man that failed in Detroit and Cleveland, and was allowed to leave Philly after last year... NFC South frontrunners also have to be front runners as surprise of the year

Browns actually have an offense, surprise! Raiders doing well, semi surprise. Packers off to an excellent start, surprise. Cowboys winning handily, surprise.
Chargers, i saw it coming a mile away. Cmon its Norv Turner. Saints i called at the beginning of the season, though i put the Panthers as the division winner. Who would have thought the Buccs?!!
