I have had 6 parking fines i havent paid any yet. i keep getting letters to my house saying that it has increased but i just ignore them. what will happen?

They will "boot" your car if they see it again and then tow it to an impound lot. And/or can suspend your license, and/or issue a warrant for your arrest.

Assuming you are in the Uk the people issuing these are just thugs.It is most likely a Franchise which operates out of the Carribean.Unless they get a Court order you are Ok you can indeed contest the fines in court.Because they say they will charge you all the costs this is incorrect,in a small claims court (under £2500) costs are fixed and usually borne by the person bringing the claim.Dont be intimidated by these people and if they threaten you anymore tell them you are going to the Police not about the Parking fines but about the threats.That should fix em mafia crooks.

It all depends on how strict the system is there. Some won't even recognize it and even when you get pulled over other times it won't show up on the system. I had a ticket for passing a light and I went almost 3 years without even getting a single letter, though it did eventually come back to me, not in a bad way, it just got thrown out. I doubt six parking tickets will get thrown out. lol Its better you get it worked out as soon as you can because you later wont have a car or license to even get a ticket in. Though I am sure you are having that feeling of that it won't matter or you just don't want to go through without knowing what might happen. You just need to call to get a way to work it out, because they do tack on extra costs to it also.

Eventually they will issue a bench warrant for your arrest. They wont come kicking your door down or anything crazy but if you get pulled over for lets say speeding - when the cop runs your license he is going to find out that you have a warrant and you are going directly to jail. And even better if it is a Saturday you are going to sit there until the judge shows up Monday...
Or they will boot your car or tow it to an impound lot which usually charges somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 for the tow and $50 dollars a day storage....

After so many days, they will issue a warrant for your arrest. Then you will have to pay greater fines and/or jail time. You need to contact them asap to start making arrangements.

The parking fines will show up when it is time to renew the car registration. You won't be able to renew it until they r paid.
