...they're saying all the right things about taxation and crime. I haven't met one single person who has a good word to say about Labour. I think they're going to make Gordon Brown the shortest-lived abour Prime Minister in history if he calls snap election. People are actually realising that his trip to Iraq this week and announcement of troop withdrawls is nothing more than spin.

Are Labour's days numbered? I think so...

Well said that man. I live in Romford where they've built a lovely new hospital but guess what? A baby died because they didn't have any midwives employed!

That's Labour's legacy! All show, no substance!

I hate labour. They have lied and robbed this country of its identity and power.

Cameron has not got enough sound policies to start a fire.

I like many others do not trust anything any MP says.

So i will ABSTAIN.

That does not mean not vote. I will go to my polling station and attach to my ballot card the reasons why i cannot vote for any of the candidates. The returning officer will have to read our what i say as the result is announced.

www.abstain05.co.uk - same rules apply.

Make your voice heard!!

Government is the servant of a country - not its master!

Your keyword is 'saying'! Most reputable economists hae already suggested that they cant be achieved without a downward pressure on our excellent economy. In social terms their 'family' tax proposals only relate to populist (Nick Robinson) type thinking. They dont have much to do with modern Britain. Dont forget it would take YEARS to introduce their propposals fully and then YEARS to get Britain back to where it is today. Whateer the pessimists SAY the truth is that the British economy and status in the world as a whole is very strong!

And your question is even more spin! You probably know more or less the same about politics as David Cameron and the rest of the failed and double lying, rats, greedy, and abusive scare mongerers.

Do you realize that the Conservatives based their tax promises on a taken out of context bank (equitable life) survey of its customers opinions? The bank asked how much do you think the house you live in is worth (to renters as well as owners)and this is taken as monetery statistics! their policy on taxing foragn nationals is also stupid they would just take their money elseware rather then pay £24000. the tories promises are ridicules and will be shown as such very quickly

If only you could be right . I am fed up to the back teeth with Gordon Brown and his lot,and his crumpled shirts. But I don't think Cameron is the man for the job. He hasn't got the wherewithal that is necessary for it. It perhaps shouldn't matter about public image, only the policies, but it is a fact that to attract votes it needs a certain something that he just hasn't got. Margaret had it for instance. Even people who didn't go along with her will often admit that she had a strong demeanor and was highly respected for her grit and tenacity. What about William Haigh as a replacement-he has matured a lot since he was last in the front line ?

Stranger things have happened, indeed. But personally, I have to say that Cameron looks very much like a weapon designed for the last war!

That depends if people remember the glory tory days, when all council housing and national industry was sold off, the nhs started a downward spiral (which still hasn't stopped), the 3 biggest rip offs in history, decimalisation, vat and poll tax.
