Which of the more common insects do you think will go extinct, before humans do? I'm talking about the ones we have all seen and been pestered by, not the rare and exotic ones.

LIKE I SAID WITH THE OTHER QUESTION, WHEN IT IS TIME FOR THE WORLD TO END, AND JESUS COMES VISIBLE TO US, I THINK ALL THE INSECTS WILL BECOME EXTINCT BEFORE US HUMANS

Some scientists estimate that there are around 10 million insect species alive today. Assuming that is the correct number, then an average of 3 insect species go extinct per hour. However, most of this is in the tropics and doesn't interest you.

Common insects are common because they're well-adapted to their environment, and really have no danger of extinction. Even pest species are not wiped out completely by our efforts (except for one species that I forgot the name of).

It is unlikely that any common ones will go extinct - it takes a reduced population - rare - to get the population low enough to go extinct. Most of the extinctions will occur when man changes the environment - like cutting down the jungle where they live.
