Thierry Henry
Dennis Bergkamp (definitely most versatile, last of the total football era)
Peter Schmeicel in his prime was an amazing keeper.
Alan Shearer is a name that wont be forgotten in England
Giggs is consistently consistent yes, but i wouldnt call him best in the history of the premier league

Yes, But Barcelona were exceptional not because of Forreign signings that were attracted by a great league , but for fielding so many of their own home grown talent, which they should be salluted for, Also I don't think any 1 league will dominate the other, Spain will have great teams, Real and Barca but England will have their best players spread around their league and make it more competitive. So good for Spain to reignite their league, and have 2 teams back on top of world football rather than 1, And good for England To even out their league some what, and also still be up there with the best EVERYONES A WINNER!!! True the 2 below are very senisble comments, and if i was level 2 i'd give u a thumbs up!!

Cantona or Henry for the quality of football, though as you say, the likes of the Scholes' and Giggs are unfortunately a generation thats gone by, we just don't produce raw talent like that anymore.

Its got to be between Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, Roy Keane, Gary Neville, and Ryan Giggs.
I'd give it to Giggs for longevity, and that goal against arsenal.

My great uncle "george camsell" scored the 2nd most goals in a league ever i think it was 54 if i remember rightly. He played for middlesbrough (my team and hometown) and england as well scoring a hatrick against wales. Everyone says Henry, yeah he is a good player but he deffinetly wasn't the best.

For me it would have to be Cantona, but agree with you that Giggs has been exceptional too. Henry wasn't bad either.
