If you go to the site below, they sell very inexpensive kits. Most only require clue to put together. They are really cute and very salable. At the site, do a search for " Christmas craft kits ".

Since you have already exhausted the kids craft websites, I'm assuming you've already done or ruled out the popsicle-stick frames and pencil cups, tissue paper vases, and painted rock paperweights type of crafts...

Everybody loves calendars! When my daughter was in Kindergarten, her teacher made calendars from the artwork the students did all year. Maybe the kids could do something like that. You can make year-at-a-glance calendars, where you only use one photo or art piece, so if you don't have the time or energy for twelve separate pages, it's another way to do it--it's just a larger piece of cardstock.

Another fun craft is paper beads. The kids really seem to enjoy making them, and with some colorful cording and a few plastic or other beads, you can make unique jewelry items without too much time involved.

When I was a kid, we made Mother's Day gifts from seashells and flowers. We glued silk flowers (small ones) onto oyster and other larger sea shells, to make soap dishes. They were really pretty cute and the flowers you can get today are much nicer.

I did a lot of other fun crafts as a kid, but most of what I can think of required either hot wax, sharp sewing needles, or weeks of learning a new skill like knitting or crochet. I hope you can get some ideas from these suggestions--have fun!

Aluminum pie tin shadow boxes. (Cut the one tin, like pie slices, (center to 1 inch from outer edge of back. Curl over a pencil and wrap evergreens and small round red berries, in the 6 curls. Staple together the second tin so it looks like a shadowbox. Hollow inside. But first paste a Christmas card onto the inside bottom of tin #2. After it's put together, stick a symbolic (birthday) candle into the crack between the tins, with small plastic holly (using tacky) under the picture. Glue a ribbon onto the base of the hanging shadow box. Small or large aluminum pie tins.

Goody filled Christmas wrapped tubes. Striped Christmas wrapping paper looks best. Tied with red ribbon at both ends.

Toy filled grab bags.

Last year in Cub Scouts, my grandson made a reindeer out of construction paper. First they traced around their foot to make the head. Then they traced around their hands to make the antlers. Add a red pompom for a a Rudolph nose and some wiggly eyes. Have fun!!!!!

have you tried making cars and buses out of milk and juice cartons? you can cover the advertisments with construction paper as well as making the wheels and other things .make sure the paper is different colored then you can make little traffic signs using ice cream pop sticks. you can make a whole village using those ice cream pop sticks! the children will get a kick out of this!
