Hillary's sudden penchant for hyena-like laughter and Rudy's NRA cell phone call seem like clearly scripted attempts to make each candidate seem more personable. I think they also seem completely phony. An interesting article about it:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071002/od_nm/usa_politics_laugh_dc

Rudy's explanation for the phone call:

"Quite honestly, since September 11, most of the time when we get on a plane, we talk to each other and just reaffirm the fact that we love each other," he told the Christian Broadcasting Network.

Not only was the phone call obviously staged, but he manages to mention - everybody say it with me - 9/11!

Are these 2 just the phoniest phonies ever?

Its a good thing Giuliani took the phone call! He was in the middle of getting the Bill of Rights completely wrong. Watch the video. He's trying to say the 2nd amendment but what comes out sounds like some kind of butchering of the 4th.

Hillary just laughs at anything that resembles a serious or tough question. I'm not sure which of the two is worse - this is probably why they're "front-runners."

I think all politicians do anything they can to get publicity but R. Giuliani's constant mention of 9/11 is starting to annoy me. Everything he's been doing lately (the phone call and the constant 9/11 mentions) make me wonder if he's not enjoying the limelight and has no real hope of winning.

Most politicians are phonies. You just have to pick the phony that you think will do the best job for the country and I hope we do a better job of picking this time than we did the last.

IN my opinion they just prove that politics as usual is alive and well. No change and both have the experience to try and pull the wool over our eyes. I sure hope people listen carefully. We really don't need a phonie as President, do we? TY.

Hillary is definitely a phony and much worse.
Between Hillary and Giuliani, Giuliani is the obvious winner.

Yes, they are. They just want to WIN, it has nothing to do with the American people, its just a game to them, they just want to play president. September 11?? Shutup about it man, is this wife number 7 or 8?

I really liked Hillarys Soprano spoof, shes so cool, she watches the Sopranos!?! I would rather have her husband be president again...On SNL they did a great skit about her and Billy, watch it on youtube, it about sums up her attitude about things.

Im just going to keep informing ppl about Ron Paul, everybody is always like wow, what, im supporting him, democrats and republicans alike, noone cares what party hes in, they just like him.

I believe you are basically right in both cases. However I consider Rudy a much worse possible CC than Hillary, so given the awful choice, I still go with the one in the pant suit and not the dress.
