There are nine cards arranged in 3 rows of 3 cards each like the diagram below:

1) Every ace borders a king and a queen.
2) Every king borders a queen and jack.
3) Every queen borders a jack.
4) There are atleast 2 aces, 2 kings, 2 queens, and 2 jacks.

What kind of card is in the center?

Thanks.

That puzzle is all reasoned out on this website, and the center is a jack.

jack in the middle

Start with the card that touches the most other cards (King) as it has to touch, an A, Q, and J
... the only place it can do that is in one of the "Middle of the lines" (cannot be a corner), as there are two place them on opposite ends of the grid

Then fill in the blanks ... King needs A, Q, J
so you get on eon each "border" (and repeat it for the bottom). Jack is the "Least restricted" (IE it has less requirements of what needs to touch it, so the middle position is the most likely place for it)

... Now the Aces need to touch queens

the only blank has to be the missing letter which is another J
