True. My father had knocked some of my teeth out (he used to hit me a lot). Then I had an accident that shattered more of my teeth. In my late teens, I was advised to get dentures to lessen the horrible dental pain and cosmetic damage, and I did. When that happened, all of my wisdom teeth were removed, too. I had many extractions that day, and it was terribly painful. But the removal of the wisdom teeth paled in comparison to the extraction of the fragments of my front teeth, which was agonizing.

I'm 15 and I had my wisdom teeth out

The anestetetic messes you up big time. The teeth hurt like hell and I coldn't open my mouth more than half an inch for three days. I lost five pounds and I'm already very skinny (Though I gained it back now). I also threw up one time the second day because of the anestetic

True: And I was only 15 when I got them out. I had to though or else the three years of braces would have been a waste. Anyway, I spent a week in bed only eating yogurts and icecream. I was on heavy medication so I don't remember being too much in pain.

I've had 2 removed because the roots were to long. Painfully to have been left in but not painful to have removed.
I was told that it is painful to have removed and after you are in terrible pain, swelling or even can get infection.
(You can even have your jaw bone break while removing some!)I was one of the lucky ones I guess, as none of this happened to me.

False, but I need too. I had braces for several years and the told me they would probably not come in because I was missing a few teeth and they had to break the roof of my mouth to get them all to move forwards and come together.

I had all four removed.... I think it's a great idea if it's going to cause the rest of your teeth to get over crowded and crooked... Does it hurt? Naw, they use pain killers.....it's no biggie.

True. I had to have all 4 removed. I didn't have enough space for them. And the area was constantly sore. I payed extra to be put to sleep.
