You are probably dilating.....your bodies way of preparing for birth. It is not uncommon to feel those pains.
It won't be too much longer.
God Bless!

I had this last pregnancy but I also had sever PIH, so my water retention was off the charts. I am only 29 weeks and am already having trouble getting out of the tub and out of bed. My pubic bone and pelvis are grinding and popping when I do as well. I think it's from having my kids back to back and not letting my poor body rest.

I thought this was normal, my husband had to help me all the time at 39 weeks, especially sitting on the floor, don't expect me to get up AT ALL before 5 minutes has past. My doctors were really no help at all as well. I think it's just the price you pay for turning into a whale in the last month. I did however have really bad pains, I thought lightning bolts were shooting out of my vagina and this time it feels like front AND BACK. But I only experienced the shooting pains when I got out of bed or took too wide of a step towards the end of my pregnancy. As soon as those pains started I began having contractions a few days later. I think it's just a sign of you're about to have that baby!

I'm not sure if it was due to whatever caused the pain and lack of mobility but after my daughter was born (had to have a c section after 18 hours of excruciating pain) I could not move my legs very well especially my right one. It took almost a month to gain my mobility back. Last time I did not say anything but I would go in as soon as your legs or one of them refuses to go with you ( like a stiffness). By then the baby has tried to drop but can not get into the pelvis for whatever reason and is pinching something.

It could be nerve pain from the uterus. Or it could be vaginal hemorrhoids. Most pregnant women get them, some worse than others. Theyre very very painful for some women, and they hurt constantly, very sharp aching pains.

Especially at your point in pregnancy, this sort of pain is common, whatever the reason may be.

It's most likely symphysis pubis dysfunction. See the link, it's got tons of info. I went through this too. The good news is, it almost always goes away with birth! And there are treatments; I highly recommend a chiropracter.

Go to the ER asap if you are in that much pain. You need to get checked out. Are you having any contractions a long with the vaginal pain?
