i can not tell you how many times i have met or known someone is horrible and thought, man all, (say doreens) must be horrible but then i met two people in the fouth grade, both named britnay. one was really mean and snobby, but the other was the sweetest person i had ever met and one of my really good friends. i dont think that the name you have determines what kind of person you are, but even after all that i dont think i will ever name a kid Ashley

Any name that would cause a child to be teased. Children can be very mean to their peers. Also remember if you want to give your child a cutesy name that this child will eventually grow up into an adult and possibly an 80 year old person at some point. Will this name make sense in that case?

Jack in the box....jack be nimble jack be quick...
Not sure but a lot of people don't have vowels in their children's name or have like 10 letters ...That would be really hard for a kid when they are learning to write....I don't like Lisa, Liz, or Crystal...I know girls with those names and they have all been sluts trying to steal my husband !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gretchen - just sounds harsh, and the 2 I've known were not nice people.
Anything prissy - I've known snobby girls with these names: Ashley, Stephanie, Tifany, Whitney, Britney.
