Okay, so I am out at my parents work, and I can't go anywhere else. I really don't wannna fry my brain on the computer, lol. So do you have any crafts I can do? I don't have much money, so I can't go out and buy much stuff. I am going to be out here for 2 weeks, and I need something to do. It's fall break, (already,) and I need something fun to do. It seems, to me, like fall break is going on forever! It's only been 4 days since Friday! I need something to pass the time. If the craft is really awesome, but involves buying something, I guess I could pull up a few bucks, but not for every single craft. I hope my description helped, thank you! ♥Have a nice day!♥

Tabletweaving is quite portable. All you need is a few dollars worth of wood (email me if you want pics of my loom,) a packet of old playing cards and some wool.
This site has some easy to understand instructions. http://members.shaw.ca/evethejust/tablet.html
I figured it out while I was "Preggie Brained" so they can't be too hard. Her gallery has some great patterns too. I'm happy to answer any questions, if I know the answers :)
You can make trim for clothing, straps for bags, ribbons if you use thread instead of wool, friendship bracelets, belts... It's an easy thing to do, but there is so much to learn that it will keep you occupied for the rest of the holidays :) Stripes or just one colour are the easiest. I tried number ten in Eve's gallery. It took me 12 hours to do the first 2cm, then 3 mins to do the 3rd cm. I unpicked the first two about 4 times before I got the hang of the pattern. Like I said, I was preggie brained. I'm sure you'll pick it up faster!
This site has some fun stuff too, nice and cheap: http://www.stringpage.com/

This isn't a craft, but it could become something you would like to do for a long time. Get an inexpensive recorder or harmonica and learn to play it. There are inexpensive books, many with example CDs, that will show you how to play simple tunes easily. Both of these instruments can produce awesome sounds if you apply yourself, anything from classical music to hip hop, there really is no limit.

tear up strips of paper. different colours if possible. roll them up into little tubes. secure end with glue and then cut into different lengths. And now you have your very own beads.

take piece of cord/thread and start designing own jewlery.
very cheap. use felt cut into shapes to create pendants for neckless.

Old clothes lying around the house, then why not transform them.

Crafting doesnt have to cost alot. It is usually alot more fun if you dont spend a fortune on stuff.
Have a rumage around the house and find anything and everything. then use your imagination.

Have alook at some of the craft forums. They usually run comps. and are great for inspiration.

Have fun.

you helped me so now I'm returning the favor...well you could always do something active like running, jogging, tennis, etc. or if your stuck inside find a good movie on tv(maybe rent one), pick out your clothes for the next month, call up one of your old friends(the older the better) and reconnect, possibly do a really big piece of art for someone you love, etc. last but not least, if i were you, walk(not drive) around town and find someone to hang out with or find something to do.

Would you enjoy reading a good novel, one geared towards folks of whatever your age group is? There's also crossword puzzles, word search puzzles (those both come in paperback book form) or how about a jigsaw puzzle, if you have room to set one up?
