The Indians will take out the Yankees. The second half of the season means nothing. It's the playoffs and pitching wins period. The Yankee bats will be silent again this year. Boston/Anaheim is a toss up. Dice K is the deciding factor here. If he pitches well, Sox win. If not, Angels. Arizona and Colorado will win their series in the NL. Diamondbacks are too good for the Cubs and the Phillies starting pitching save Cole Hamels is gonna get knocked around pretty good by the Rockies.
I'm stuck from there but I'm gonna go Indians/Diamondbacks in the series. Pitching will prevail in the long run and I think these two teams have the best combination of starters and bullpen for the teams they will match up against.

I honestly think the Cubs will get swept by the Indians in the World Series. I dont think anyone can top the Indians in the AL, because the Tribe can match anybody, and probably best everybody in pitching, top to bottom, and can easily match any offense in the league too, with Sizemore, Lofton, Martinez, Cabrera, Hafner and Garko.
The Cubs, I dont know why, I just have a feeling they somehow get lucky enough to make the World Series. Once they face a real team though, they will get dominated. The only way a team in the NL would have close to a shot is if they sweep the Phillies, because the Phillies have the closest thing to an AL Offense, but no pitching.
Whoever makes it from the AL will win.

Definitely the Red Sox!! I mean they've been leading this AL East practically the whole season and have Josh Beckett as their starting ace, "Big Papi" David Ortiz and Manny (who just returned after missing 24 games from an oblique strain) are now sizzling after their bad first half. Also Mike Lowell has helped them beyond words by providing incredible stats that no one would expect from such a quiet and humble guy! But most of all we've the so called "5'9" (5'7)Rookie of the Year, 2B Dustin Pedroia who wrapped up batting like .320! This year we're going all the way!!!
Also sorry about the Mets, I kind of hoped they'd get in them because I love Pedro (he used to play for them) and absolutely hate the Yankees!

final night on activities center Steve Philips became asked no rely if or no longer he believed the Cubs have been the superb team in baseball. He pronounced they are taking part in the superb baseball, have an extremely sturdy team, yet might nonetheless checklist a pair of different golf equipment in basic terms before them as being the superb. i'm a die no longer undemanding Cubs fan to the top, yet will ought to consider what he pronounced. i think of the Cubs have between the main properly rounded golf equipment in baseball. they have an marvelous lineup, remarkable bullpen and an above undemanding rotation. Will the Cubs win all of it this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days? in basic terms time will tell. the stable factor is you do no longer must be the superb team in baseball to win the WS. look at 2006. i particularly have confidence the Cardinals weren't the superb team in baseball, yet they performed the superb while it mattered maximum. comparable is going for 2003 while the Marlins crowned the Yankees. The Cubs have had a reasonably undemanding time table for this reason far. optimistically the momentum and self assurance they have outfitted will proceed to hold them. they're going to wish it come September while they play sixteen out of 25 video games on the line alongside with 7 without delay to end the season.

I see the Indians and Phillies makin it... The Indians simply because they have the most depth in pitching. A 1-2 punch of CC Sabathia and Fausto Carmona gives them 2 Cy Young candidates as well as a bullpen that includes Rafael Betancourt and Rafael Perez and Joe Borowski, that shortens the game to six innings. Not to mention a lineup with Sizemore, Victor Martinez, Hafner, Garko, Peralta and September sparkplug Asdrubal Cabrera
The Phillies dont have the deepest of pitching, but how about that offense. Anytime you have 3 legit MVP candidates in the same lineup, how can you not fear this team? (Howard, Rollins and Utley) They also have guys like Shane Victorino, and Pat Burrell.
Just my thoughts.

I have a feeling that the Yankees are going to win because of the mix of rookies and verterans. They have a spirt that i haven't seen since the 96-00's teams. I DO NOT think that Alex will choke because he has no pressure on himself. He is playing baseball the right way, he is just having fun. In the national league it is all up in the air but i give the advantage to the philles however i dont want them to win

I like your answer the Yankees vs Phillies. But I think the 2 factor have the Phillies winning it, first that the Phillies have better Pitching. Sorry it’s true. The next big factor is the A-Rod factor or the A-Rodless factor cause as we all know A-Rod never shows up in the playoffs. Phillies in 6.

Angels or Indians, for one simple reason. The best 3-deep rotations in the playoffs. One of these teams will be playing the Rockies (hopefully) or the Cubs (sentimental pick). Not that I like the Cubs, just that both Soxes finally got theirs after so many years that it would be cool for the Cubs to get one.
Winner, in any case, is the AL representative.
