ok, so i have heard a lot of talk about how the cowboys are an unproven team...that they havent played anyone and they will get tested against new england...the best team in the NFL, this will be the biggest test for both teams...and here are my reasons...the patriots have played the chargers (who have been lack luster), New York Jets (again, not a strong team), Buffalo Bills (which have not done much of anything this year), and the Cincinnati Bengals (who have proved that if you can throw against them, you can win...), which brings the teams record combined to 4-12. the Cowboys, have played New York Giants (they are struggling for the W), Miami Dolphins (still cant find the W), Chicago Bears (great deffense, terrible offense), and the St. Louis Rams (also cant find that W). which brings their combined record of 3-13.so not much difference...Each team plays who they are assigned to play, and if they beat them..then they beat them, both teams are incredible teams, but dont bet the farm.

im saying whats your thoughts about the matchup, i think teh cowboys have as good of a chance as the pats do beating the cowboys...its a 50-50 game, bothe have about the same equal offensive production, both opponents records are about the same

Wow, an intelligent question, without bring up cheating or bashing the Patriots for being overrated.

I agree that it's going to be a great match up for both teams to prove who are "real" and who are "frauds". The Cowboys scare me with that offense and if they can get that defense to play up to their ability, look out.

I think it's going to be a shoot out and honestly, I can't predict a win either way. One because, I am a superstitious and two, because right now, these guys are evenly matched considering who each team beat already this year. It's going to be a great game to watch.

I think the broadcasters are talking just as much about Dallas and Romo as they are the Pats. The one who you should worry about is the "lack" of talk about Manning and the Colts. They are the one's who are being disrespected and neglected by the media and such. Good luck Cowboys.

I agree. I think it's going to be a defining game for both teams and I can't wait o watch it in week 6. I'm hoping the Cowboys win. I've been so pissed off lately because I feel like sprtscasters aren't showing them enough respect and saying all these good things about the other team until after Dalls gives them a spankin. And what was up last Sunday when Fox Sports cut off the Dallas - St. Louis game part way through the 3rd quarter? Even though Dallas won 35-7, I think it's disrespectful to do that. then the patriots get all this praise from sprtscasters when they haven't had any competition either. Hopefully after week 6, the Cowboys will get the respect they deserve.

Teams can beat who they play and thats all they can do. I think New Englands wins have been more impressive especially in the first two weeks but they are against poor teams on both sides.
Tony H, its the Cowboys fans that keep bringing it up. We just keep responding. As far as the question, Cowboys vs Patriots, I don't see the Cowboys defense slowing down the Pats too much and I think Tony Romo is going to see looks and formations that he has never seen before and struggle quite a bit. The Cowboys also seem to have trouble getting off the gun, they dont score much in the first half the past couple weeks. If you do that with New England you will go into the half down around 20 points which can quickly take any team out of their game plan.

Both teams are fairly balanced and both teams are more dangerous passing than running. Rodney Harrison comes back this week for New England, but will probably be used sparringly if at all this week and be in more during the week at dallas. This creates some real problems from a game planning perspective from Dallas, New England will always add wrinkles to their defenses every week, but with Harrison there are quite a few more wrinkles they can add. It will be difficult for the Cowboys to try to figure out what to expect especially early from the New England defense which blitzes a lot one week, plays more zones the next etc.
On the other side, the Cowboys blitz alot. Not a good idea against Brady and the New England offense who incorporate a lot of screens and have recievers that the cowboys can not go man to man with all game.

My expectation in this game New England comes out with a large lead early. They go into half time up around 20-25 points. Dallas will make an attempt to comeback but New England will match them punch for punch. I like New England by 15-20 points at the end of the day.

I would like an answer to this...if the Patriot fans are so sure that they are gonna stomp the Cowboys, then why do they keep bringing it up? Are you guys scared to watch your team play against a good team? Most of the Pat fans are fair weather fans anyway, always going for the team that everyone says is the best. No more speculation, lets just wait til they play, and then you will see me posting all over this place, and yes, expect me to rub salt in the wounds!

I have nothing against other teams...but funny when people don't like the Patriots, all they come up with is the videotape crap...The NFL dealt with it...If you don't like it, contact Roger Goodell...The Pats are the best team in the NFL...The Cowboys will be finding out in a couple weeks...and the Colts will too in November or whenever their game is...

Tony H...After all the other Patriot fans have you for lunch, I'll bring the salt for your wounds...

As a Bears fan it pains me to say that only the Patriots have a even remote chance of beating the Patriots. Meanwhile...we will try to dig up some semblance of an offense

And your question is ...........?

The Cowboys are undefeated this season, so I'd venture to guess that they'll beat the Patriots, even if just by a slim margin.
