I swim, I dive, I snorkel, I scuba dive. Learned when I was a kid and took survival swimming in the U.S.Coast Guard. I could stay alive for a week in the water as long as I can get fresh water to drink.

Ohhhhhh yeah. I'm like a fish. I prefer swimming in fresh water as opposed to a pool though. More freedom. Extra fun if there are big rocks to dive from. Loooooove swimming.

And, if you meant, can I swim in an abstract sense, well, I'm afloat. Still talking, breathing, going through the motions. So, I guess I can...or am, at the present moment, anyhow :-) :-).

Hey, Moon: Do you know what happened to Bella? I haven't seen her around lately and her avatar disappeared from my contact list.

Yes. Learned in Marine Corps boot camp by being kicked into a 14 foot pool and told to swim. Several gallons of chlorine later, I wash a fish. Seaworld eat your heart out!

Physically yes I can.
But I can't do the fact that I have some major ear problems and when water collects in my ears a lot it isn't pretty.
I have tried the ear plugs and the only ones that work are the wax ones, and something about them makes me want to hurl when I put them in. I am even suppose to wear plugs in the shower but I don't.

You have a great day too Moon!

Err.. Yes.. It's in fact my favourite sport. But I'm not an athlete or something like that. I've stopped for a while though. I hurt my shoulder badly from I don't know what or how. My physio said that I would have to stop swimming for a while. Dunno when I can start. I hope soon.

Have a good night sleep Moon :)

Very well. In this life, I've learned how to swim the hard way. I'm in hell right now, and I don't know how much longer I can swim but I'm going to try.

Yes, but not all the way to Brazil. :(
I swam 3.5km this morning and I do that three times a week at the moment.

Really, I enjoy swimming. I am reducing my stroke count at the moment... the number of strokes it takes to get to the other end of the pool. The technical aspects of streamlining are fascinating. :)
