Yes I do. We loved Fizzies. I think you can still find them at the Vermont Store Catalog but I am sure they will be nothing like the ones in the late 50s and early 60s. Ummm Fizzies and kool-aid were the top drinks then.

Oh, I'd forgotten them til you reminded me. I wasn't that fond
of them tho. I remember having the green or red ones. That
goes back to the time we had "Flavor Straws" doesn't it?
Those paper straws with a strip of flavored paper inside that
when you stuck them in a glass of milk, they would turn into
strawberry or chocolate milk. I don't think those lasted very
long either. LOL.
Does anyone remember "Tips"? That was a medicated
mouthwash type of liquid that had alcohol in it. You'd tip the tiny bottle on your tongue for an application to make your breath smell better.I remember me and my girlfriend thought we were so cute drinking that more than "tipping" it. We felt so grown up LOL. There was also a tiny licorice tasting tri-
angular pill we bought in bottles that were also for bad breath.
But I don't remember what those were called. They were
really strong on flavor.

No. What's a Fizzie, some sort of candy? I had a very sheltered childhood.

One night my long time gf (62 - 65) and I were in her kitchen with her little sister (who had earlier caught us ....fooling around) were drinking some Fizzies drinks and her dad wanted to know what was going on (it was about 12:30 in the morning). Barb said, "We're having a HAPPY FIZZIES PARTY!" Her dad said to me, "Well, it's about time you FIZZIED your a.s.s. home!"

I can remember trying not to explode in English class, a whole one would blow and come out your nose, not a pleasant ride.
EDIT: It was a tablet the size of an alkaseltzer that was meant to be disolved in water to make a drink, we would put them in our mouths in quarters (after learning our lesson of the nose trick) and let them fiz.

Sure do! We loved them. I do understand why they were taken off the market, though. My husband threw a couple in a big glass of water and didn't wait until they had fully dissolved. They got caught in his throat and continued to fiz. He said it hurt like the devil. (Those weren't quite the words he used.)

I had forgotten all about them til you mentioned it. I loved them, but I used to like Alka Seltzer too. I always liked anything with fizz. Don't touch anything carbonated anymore.

Trying to get brain cells together...was that a drink that combined carbonated soda water with icecream? - or was it ice cream with soda pop? - Never mind! I read now what they were....and never had one though
