Hadn't heard that, but the Pudge said he felt they were not going to pick-up his $13 million option for 2008. I am a Tigers fan. I feel it is a huge mistake, with all the young pitchers they have. I've looked around- who will they replace him with? If Wilson is healthy next year, .170 in the line up? Inge can't do it-they already replaced him with Pudge. Unless Dombrowski figures Inge can do it.

Pudge MAYBE has 1 or 2 years left in him. Now that he's off the juice he's just not as good. I think the Tigers are better off without him. Get some young catcher in there and save some $ at the same time.

In that article, it also mentions Polanco's 142 errorless games this year.

That's amazing!!!!

yeah its a good move if they have someone or will have someone who can play as well or better than him or it could just be a salary dump
