With about 1/2 of the nations political nutz running on the DEM./ LIB.ticket, and the NEWS Management Broadcasters having ORGASM'S / EJACULATIONS in their Jeans, every time Hillary "cackels and lay's an egg", WE INDEPENDENT AMERICANS have GOT TO DO something, come up with a winner, lest Hillary gets in(2008) and BUYS the 2012 election, and then her V.P. buys the 2016 election !!!!!
AT this time, FRED and NEWT are the best of the available choices and they do have a chanch of taking Hillary on, AND BEATING HER !!!!

IT sounds good; however, I think that Newt will not take a big pay cut for the position. He is better what he is doing now. This is reinforce the conservative grass roots. This is critical to work on. This can't be done by being the VP of the US.

I think that would be a better combination than a lot of them.
Newt was my Congressman for many years and I went to one of his townhall meetings. There is no doubt about the fact that Newt is intelligent and down to earth. He is not full of B.S. like so many politicians, especially Dems.
I will vote for which ever Republican runs against which ever Democrat unless the Democrats do the impossible and get a candidate like Zell Miller.

I don't know enough about Fred. I still have a problem with Newt allowing the dems to chase him from his post as speaker of the house. I want some pugnacious republicans ;)

I would love to see Newt on the ticket in any form that might take. I don't think he can run, however, based on his activities with his non-profit American Solutions. I wonder if that includes VP too???

I really feel like Newt has the brains, and right frame of sense to be the president, but he has already said on Fox News, and announced to America that he will not run. He would never be elected anyway, since Libs compare, and confuse him with Bill Clinton's deeds.
