When in reality they believe in a form of faith known as "enlightenment". It is Luciferian, and they teach their followers that their roots go back to the ancient mystery religions of Babylon, Egypt, and Celtic druidism. They have taken what they consider the "best" of each, the foundational practices, and joined them together into a strongly occult discipline. Many groups at the local level worship ancient deities such as "El", "Baal", and "Ashtarte", as well as "Isis and Osiris" and "Set".... these people teach and practice evil."

Is it fair to the American people that they are elected under a false campaign and do it to fool the people who do have faith in God.

John S had a great answer. I agree with him. And I also agree with you - it is sick that we have a Luciferian President who swears on a Bible! What could be more perverse than that?! One can simply take a good look at Bush's past actions to determine quickly that he is not a Christian man in any way, shape or form. I'm sure the only oath that President Bush holds sacred is his oath to Lucifer and to keep the secrets of "The Order". What these evil elitists do is drink wine (or blood) out of a human skull and swear to keep their mouth shut or else pay the penalty of having their "skull exposed to the scorching rays of the meridian sun". Now, does that sound Christian to anybody?

You are so right that the elites practice the satanic faith - known as Enlightenment. They do worship ancient deities such as Baal, El, and others. These are all representations of the devil. Baal was the "god" to whom the Canaanites sacrificed their children to! And the most powerful people in this world are still worshipping these "gods"!

No, not even in the widest stretch of ones own imagination. When an atheist in court swears on the Bible to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth should they be required by faith to be honest ? If God is a myth in their mind then perhaps truth is also. One cannot really know truth without knowing God. When a President swears on the Bible his oath of office is that any different ? The President swears to faithfully defend the Constitution of the United States. Our current President called it a ( insert lords name in vain here ) piece of paper. Politicians pander to the religious community for votes but if they have no faith, much like the atheist’s then their oath and sworn commitment have no real meaning. They have no conviction and are a disgrace to the office they were elected into. I am not suggesting one must be religious to hold office but pointing out merely that any oath made is only as credible as the one giving it. Anyone that uses religion as a mask is only promoting evil and any decisions made by them will have compromised values. I would rather vote for a proclaimed atheist due to their honesty than a religious fraud. Honesty and integrity are lost in the political world these days. Nobody pure in spirit enough to deserve office will ever be dishonest enough to gain the political influence necessary for party candidacy. We have allowed too many rotten apples into the barrel to save the good ones. Our entire system has become too corrupt, ethically compromised, and needs a total overhaul. America has lost Gods grace and until we as a people make him our savior, satan will continue destroying the very fabric of what once made this nation great. One can look through the ages and see that after a revival of faith, the same area has encountered prosperity. Too many tend to confuse true religious revival with ethnic cleansing and witch hunts. satan has had some real victories in history but he and his followers, no matter how they try to cloak themselves, all face a horrific end. In lives where he is not welcome he has no power. All lives once free from his influence are more rewarding and free from depression and strife. In the last hundred years this country has had but one president worthy of placing an oath with a hand on the bible. The rest should have placed their hands on the book that better matches their beliefs, the Necronomican.

Are you crazy? Most Presidents are quite religious. Most choose not to let their religious beliefs run their lives so much that they are controlled only by their religion and not common sense as well. Woodrow Wilson, for example was the son of a Presbyterian minister and quite religious but he did not allow his religious beliefs to dictate every aspect of his presidency. While the general principles of Christianity and commond decency were certainly a part of his and all other Administrations it has not been that religion has played so much a part in the president's life as it is with the current one.

As for the other clap trap about elnlighenment and Baal etc. that is pure hogwash.

Simply using a Bible as a symbol to ensure one is serious about an oath is not a bad thing. If we have a president who takes the oath without a Bible, so what? People seem to make way too much out of the religion of politicians.

It is fair, because people should always do more investigating than blindly accepting what people tell them. Especially when dealing with people who are on a campaign of some sort, you should never just believe what they tell you without doing your own research and thought. Elections are propaganda; there is no way around that. I'm not saying that is necessarily bad, it just means that we must be careful to learn more about the true story rather than simply taking a candidate's word for it.

We have freedom of religion in America. Everyone is free to believe (or not believe) as they see fit personally.

To vote for someone based on religion is to give your vote away pretty cheaply in my opinion. Someone needs to earn my vote based on their experience and their voting record and their stands on the important issues.

He has the right to claim any religion he wants. Read the First Amendment to the Constitution. He can swear on anything he likes to swear upon.
