Jimmy Jones... hilarious. Then there's Jimmy Carr and Roy Chubby Brown a close second and third who are also EXCELLENT stand ups.
As for sketch writers/actors... I'm gonna say old skool Harry Enfield is/was the best.
TV shows are usually just actors so although it's funny, they're not really classed as comedians, it's just a good script.

Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer especially when they do the Stott brothers.....and Peter Kay because he brings lots of memories back from when i was a kid at weddings and family get togethers...the real stuff is usually the funniest...
