Would you name one of your kids after your parents?

i might use their first name as a middle or something, but only if either were deceased. it's more like a tribute as opposed to a fashion thing.

There's a tradition in my family where the first born boy is named after his grandpa and then they switch his sons name, ex William Edward than Edward William. Mae is also passed down as a middle name by the first born daughter.

We named both of our children after their grandparents.Their first and middle names.

We named our son after both of our fathers. His first name is the same as his paternal grandfather, and his middle name is the same as his maternal grandfather.

that all depends how many kids i have. but personally no, their names were popular when they were born, but noadays no so popular. they didn't name any of my sisblings after their parents. i think that there is no big deal about it. wh at are you gonna do?

I did. I named my daughter after my mother. My mother died before she was born and I wanted to honor her memory.
