electric field is inversely proportional to r^2. So it will be stronger near to nucleus i.e. H

Hence answer is (a) H

The contuours are placed at definite intervals of V.

Since -deltaV = E/deltax, as deltax shrinks, and deltaV remains constant, E grows large.

Thus the strongest E is in the region of the most closely spaced lines.

That looks like point A on the diagram.
