Orton does not even deserve a title shot. Grant it I am a huge Cena fan, but if somebody else say maybe Triple H or Shawn Michaels wanted a title shot I would say go for it.
When you have a guy such as Orton who is constantly getting suspended from WWE for steriods and unappropriate behavior, he should not be given title shots left and right. This guy has put several guys out of the ring in the past couple of months, possibly including Cena who is being checked out to see if he has a torn pectoral due to the attack last. I wish the WWE would wake up and realize that they have a dangerous man on their hands and that they need to get rid of him forever.

I, too, am puzzled about Orton's popularity. I am not a Cena-lover, I'm not a Cena-hater; I don't have a problem with Cena being the champ, I won't be crushed when he loses it.
Why is Orton cheered and praised? "'Cause cena sux!" is not an answer. I read another question a little while ago. People are actually hoping Cena is injured for real! That's just sad. What has John Cena done to deserve such hatred? I've been in this section for a few months and, it seems, every other "question" is "cena sux! Agree?" or something similar. I've yet to read a decent explanation as to why "cena sux". The best people have come up with is, limited move set and he's not a real Marine or a real rapper, and he's been champ for too long. WTF? For that they want him injured?
Anytime anybody here says anything positive about John Cena, the "smarks" here label that person a "12 year old girl with a crush on Cena who 'needs to get a life'". And the wannabes parrot those remarks. Jeez. I'm 50, a man, and I have a lot of positive things to say about John Cena, not the least of which is he shows up for work everyday and he does his job well. Unlike Randy Orton, John Cena is a good representative and ambassador for the WWE. People, Orton is the "bad guy", we're supposed to hate him. The WWE's got him beating up old people, for God's sake! If he was feuding with anybody but Cena, would you still cheer for Orton?.
People complained incessantly about Batista getting 400 title shots; what about Orton's 400 title shots? Enough of Orton, let somebody else try for a change! Triple H, Kennedy, Carlito, Umaga, Jeff Hardy, Shelton Benjamin; RAW doesn't have a shortage of worthy challengers. We've had Cena vs Orton all summer, let's move on.

No matter what, it's always gonna be a heel to beat Cena. No matter what a heel is going to be somthing like Randy orton. Weve been wanting every contender to beat cena for the last few months.

For one Orton can actually wrestle.Also he has made his mic skills better then Cena's over the past year.Oh,Orton is supposed to make people who like Cena or Hardy hate him,it is charecter.

not that i hate cena.... i just think he's had the title for to long. its time for a new champ, and the only guy that can take his place so far is ortan,
i'd want HHH to be the next champ but he's in a feud with mcmahon. and HBK and Y2J still arent back.
cena's cool but i just dont want to see him as champ anymore.

orton is just given those roles , to make him seem like the bad guy. we hate cena because vince keeps trying to pass him off to us as the next big thing , and we are not stupid enough to buy into that , but apparently you are.
