You better believe it Samantha, you made the best choice you will ever make in your life here!! It took a lot of strength and courage to move on in your life and to know that you deserved more than this. I am so sorry that you had to experience this abuse in your life because when you love someone and they are right to you they would never think to do this! Your husband needs help and even then you can never trust them to do it again. You keep focused here on yourself and never look back at him again no matter what you think you could ever feel about him.

Yes, you had enough respect for yourself to stand up and say enough is enough and did what was best, don't let anyone tell you anything different. There is never a reason for someone to hit or control you and no reason to stay with someone like that. Be proud of yourself for getting out of that situation.

Arguing is one thing, but when you are abusive and controlling, where is the communication anyway? What did he give you in return for your love and commitment? No... I think you have done the correct thing!
Good luck in the future!

I don't mean to be rude, but...do you really need an answer to that? I'm sure it was very hard for you to get out of this relationship, but it wasn't healthy, and doesn't sound like fun times.
