Of course it's brainwashing. Global warming is not an exact science, it is a theory which has been taken up by politicians as a god given opportunity to raise taxes. Politics should be kept out of the classroom.

Global warming is not a myth. The brainwashing is that life goes on as usual. If you want the other side, then here it is. Global warming happens to a planet with an atmosphere regardless of our,(human) intervention. Where we as the ruling species of the planet have to be concerned is that global warming has increased more in the last century than it has in the previous millennium. You can try to deny that if you want but it is the truth. Now will the planet survive? Sure it will. Will we survive? That is a harder question. Can we survive as a species an environment that is changing faster and faster? The answer is a definite maybe. The question you should ask for the sake of the next generation is; Do we want to gamble on a maybe?

Fortunately, my daughter was given both sides last year at her school. Though yes it is brainwashing, yet they already do it with other subjects and issues. It is just fortunate my daughter attends a school the has open learning and not a set curriculum, so then it depends on the instructor. There are still guidelines, but n ot as many and they can implement their own teaching. For all the things they are not given both sides too, that's where I come in :)

I have seen it and also The great Global warming Swindle, BECAUSE I want all the facts why do people want to prevent their children finding out what sort of world they are going to inherit.
Even if it is a myth (which I don't believe it is) what harm will it do to cut down pollution on our road and in our skies we are all breathing in these fumes. Cut down the incinerator use. Not rely on nuclear fuels which are so dangerous and hard transporting the waste is putting people at risk. Recycle our resources, eat healthy food without being cruel to animals by factory farming them, Stop cutting down the rain forest and growing Palm Oil. Most of it is just common sense.
Ice caps are melting one of the reasons I was told was that nuclear waste was buried in the Polar areas in the sixties and it is melting the ice, just another thought.
Most deniers are led by the greed of business and politics
without a thought for the future.

No, there is far too much brainwashing of our children in schools.
Children should be taught facts and where they are not facts they should be given a balanced view of all the arguments not just about global warming but of other contentious theories.

Ironically enough it seems to be children that are the main problem with climate change - 1,000,000 babies born worldwide every 3 days! This causes the massive overpopulation problem that Gore describes as one of the leading factors in global warming (if it exists). If it does, it threatens to wipe out millions worldwide which will deal with the overpopulation problem - which means global warming is it's own cure! (and it will wipe out those pesky energy consuming cities like London & New York which also contribute massively to the problem, thus wiping out the problem - isn't mother nature clever!)

Everyone goes through some sort of brainwashing in their life. To fight a person because they say bad things about your school you were brainwashed in a way. Your parents are Republicans and so are you. That's brainwashing. Well. You know what I mean. And if you don't know what I mean. Then I was brainwashed into believing this.

No, if they see "Inconvenient Truth" they should also see "The Great Global Warming Swindle." They deserve not to be propagandized.

Just read today that the judge in the case I think you're talking about found against the Government and agreed that there were factual innaccuracies in the documentary.
