A mine is denoted in one of two ways. Open Pit is the first and underground is the second. If you open pit something it is because it is close to the surface and you don't need to dig far to get it. If you have to dig deep you would sink a shaft and then drift out all underground. Now, because Limestone is sedimentary in nature it was deposited on top of the bedrock so there is no need to sink a shaft to get at it so you open pit mine it... the term for open pit mining rock and not ore is called quarrying. Thus you would quarry limestone. Hope this helps.

Limestone is a rock via itself. It it rather is modern-day on the exterior of earth interior this form of mountains. subsequently there's no question or difficulty in "extracting" it. Extraction skill "to take out something from another complicated entity"; like gold extraction, copper extraction etc. Limestone mountains or hills are broken all the way down to smaller, appropriate-to-carry-away length boulders via drilling into the organic rock, putting some dynamite into the hollow and blasting it to interrupt it. Then it rather is over excited to the area the place it is going for use. various the limestone is utilized in cement production. At factories it rather is added overwhelmed etc...... a number of it rather is utilized in paint marketplace. approximately your question, it rather isn't any longer extracted yet broken away!

the proper term is quarried. it comes from open pits and is removed in different ways according to the use it will be put to. it can come in the form of building stones or crushed into a powder or other ways. i believe these two are the most common.
