I've thought of one that they'd abhor!
Let's propose a tax that will aid the Republicans but only the Dems pay it.
There's one tax they would hate. :)

Of course... what an idiotic question.
I have been taxed by both Democrats and Republicans... and I have had tax cuts from BOTH Democrats and Republicans. This is the reality... you people are so blinded by the crap you hear and you ONLY want to believe that one party is evil. Come back to reality and read some objective economic reading.
Turn off Rush Limbaugh and start reading the Economist (a conservative newspaper, by the way).

How can you even pose such a ridiculous question?
Who did you think was going to pay the 10 trillion Dollar deficit George W Bush has saddled this nation with?
Did you somehow think that trickle down was going to do it?
HA
your great great grandchildren will still be paying for it.
Lets see 1 Trillion for Iraq war = wasted money
1 trillion for homeland Security= still not safe
How do these two figures add up to 10 trillion?
Where did the other Eight Trillion Dollars GO ?????
smaller government my butt

Small, non everlasting center type tax cuts (or rebates or pre-bates or payroll tax cuts) do no longer stimulate the economic equipment. They in no way have, and that they in no way will. they're wastes of time and cash. what's mandatory is to make the Bush tax fees everlasting. that is a boon to the economic equipment. The income tax cuts have been greater a count of fairness. that's the provision-section tax cuts that somewhat stimulate the economic equipment.

The tax breaks that Bush gave the the wealthiest one percent – those who make an average of $1.4 million a year – are costing more than $85 billion a year.
The billions in tax breaks George Bush and the Republicans gave the oil companies.

Poor tax they love because they want the lottery which is a poor tax and tax on tobacco both those taxes are heavily on the poor.
As far as a poll tax only when they want voters to ID themselves than they cry about poll tax.

1. The tax on their ignorance.
2. The tax on hypocrisy.
3. The tax on contradiction.
Pick one. Democrats of plenty. Unfortunately we don't tax these yet. If we did, Democrats could pay of the national debt in a week.

We have to all share in the cost of this war. You are obviously a Republican and support the war. Where do you think we are going to get the money to pay off this huge debt? Or are you just pissed off because you can't choose where your tax money goes? Me too.

No they like all taxes. They use the tax the rich scheme to get votes. In reality they are actually taxing the middle and lower clas. . If the "rich" have to pay more, then business owners are going to raise the costs of goods and services to offset any tax increase.

They dislike a standard flat sales tax on all items bought because it is holds minorities to the same standard as the rich, who pay 90% of the taxes anyway.
