Autumn colors, pale azure, crimson, gold.
Scent of pine, on languid breeze.
Forest floor, peat moss, loam and mold.
The silent song of ancient trees.

Eldritch forms in twilights glooming.
Sardonic cry’s on whispered wing.
Lay thine head on fallen boughs.
Corpses of the forest’s spring.

Inhale the scent of life’s decay.
And contemplate it’s meaning.
A gift the world gave to you.
While you lay softly dreaming.

Those beautiful days when it's not hot anymore but not too cold, the weather is perfect to just sit outside and curl up with a book or listen to some music. There's a light breeze and everything is quiet and still. Beautiful.

The last tears of summer strip off nature's colored dress as she prepares for her winter's rest. Her naked body lies beneath a multi-hued blanket soon to be topped by the white down of the first snow as silence enters the land. Within this cold embrace lies the seeds of spring's future release that brings forth the fruits of summer.

Less chance of sunburn means cooler temps and longer play time. Many people are very light skinned and can't stand prolonged exposure to the suns rays. Me, I never peel so my sunburn just turns browner. But, days like today everyone gets to come out and play. More people, more fun! ; )
