Hi,
The answer is a.
a) The product of an odd number of negative numbers is negative.
b) The product of an even number of negative numbers is positive.
So, according to a) your answer is negative.
Since your problem says negative integers:
c) The answer could not be zero due to one of the numbers being zero. Zero is the defining number between positive and negative numbers and is neither negative or positive, and, thus, does not fit the specification of your problem.

You don't need to worry about it being between -1 and zero since that is not one of your choices, but it couldn't be in that range because your problem says integers, and the product of integers is integers.

The answer is a.

Multiplying an odd number of negative numbers will always be negative.
Multiplying an even number of negative numbers will always be positive.

It could be zero simply because one of the numbers may be zero.

Keep in mind you could multiply seven numbers together with 4 of them being positive and 3 being negative, and your answer would be negative. Because you have an odd number of negative numbers. Hope this helps.
