Miss T- Yes, I meant 'senior citizen'. I'm a 'boomer' or 'jr-sr', but we use the 'seniors' here in the question or they want to put it under food, etc. lol

Greydoc 6-I remember chocolate, vanilla and banana, but not rhubarb.

venedypics-You're right they do still sell them. I like to have one now and then.

Yeah !!! The banana flavored moonpie was my fave and I would drink bubble-up cola with mine !!!! I also remember the "guys" pouring a small package of peanuts in their RC and drinking it !!!

I'm a Boomer & I do indeed remember having an RC Cola & a Moon Pie, but I never really cared for the Moon Pie.

RC Cola, a bag of Planters Peanuts poured in (come from 30 miles from me, now), and Moon Pie...great summer snack in lower slower Delaware in the late 50's.

Yes I do. I love marshmallow moon pies. The closest I can get to the taste I remember is Little Debbie moon pies. The ones I remember were sold as an A & P (now SuperFresh) brand.

Exactly the right price to cover my lunch money.
(25 cents = dime each RC and moon pie, with a bag
of nickel planters for dessert)

They are still sold here. RC and a peanut tossed in made them fizz more

This boomer does, though we called them Scooter Pies instead of moon pies.
