Naturally. Both characters managed to amass wealth, were trained by mentors, and sought vengeance due to family injustice which later manifested into justice for all those who are defenseless. Not to mention their respective costumes, black capes, masks, etc. Zorro's "calling card" was the "Z" slashed into objects with his sword. Batman's calling card, is of course, the Bat-Signal and other Bat symboled objects. Both are named after animals. Zorro is Fox in Spanish, and Batman after the Bat. Another character with some similiarities is the Phantom, AKA as the Ghost Who Walks. The Phantom keeps the family legend and tradition alive through the generations, each male assuming the mantle of The Phantom as he fights injustice and crime. The Phantom also uses a horse and a wolf. While the outifts are different, one similiarity with both Zorro and Batman is the use of a secret headquarter. The Phantom uses a cave. Batman uses a cave.

In some versions of the origin story, the movie that the Waynes watched the night they were killed was a revival of Zorro. I have read several Batman comics over the years where this was shown. So it is not surprising that a sensitive and impressionable young boy who was traumatized by a horrible experience and afterward suffered survivor guilt should pick up on the theme of the masked avenger of evil.

Both are good guys that dress in black and look like bad guys. Both are rich but dedicate their lives to helping thoose in need and protect them from predetors, both have a signature symbol. Both do not use fire arms despite being readily avalible. Both are outsatnding athletes and are "natural" heroes (no super powers). Both are charosmastic noblemen and ladies men. Both liked and admired by the poeple and both are vigilanties. Both are supreme fighters. Both have secrect cave hide outs. Both have dark rides (zorro with the black stead batman with the bat mobile) Both have multiple talents. So yeah both are VERY a like.
