Are you talking about a saturday morning cartoon on the TV? If so, I am not sure that existed. There is nothing in IMDb about it and there is no listed in there either for Bill Watterson (at least as part of something like that).

Maybe you could find a link or something to give a bit more information for me to work with. However, I don't think that they had a cartoon on TV about Calvin and Hobbes.

Of course Calvin and Hobbes are real. But they weren't ever in a TV show:

From wikipedia (page listed at bottom of this answer): "Ultimately, Calvin and Hobbes was never made into an animated series."

See:

The little boy "peeing" on the back of pickup trucks is Calvin.

"Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you."

Never. Calvin & Hobbes has always been in print exclusively. Bill Watterson is famous for not having allowed any merchandising of the characters.
