I can't argue with you on this one... BUT I think the religious arm in the GOP is severely weakened since the 2006 elections. Most people aren't wanting religion in our legislation and the parties are finally shaking the religious mantel off.

If the GOP feels desperate by this time next year THEN they will be making every promise to the religious right... but don't worry they will forget all of them if they are elected.

Because the christian extremists in this country think it is a continuation of a holy war started hundreds of years ago against the heathen Muslims. They will fund it, support it, and give the lives of their children to it. The sad part about it is they have yet to figure out that it's all about oil and not god.

Oh well no one ever said that religious extremists were all that bright!

because clearly there is no divide between religion and state. im not too sure there ever was. the founding fathers meant well but they never really acted on some of the rules they created. just ask women and blacks
