Are you my ex-husband??? lol
Seriously, he insisted that the cheese and the mustard on his burger, sandwich, etc. not be touching. He wanted one slice of bread with mayo next to the cheese, and the other slice of bread with mustard touching the meat. I guess that should've been a red flag right there!
That said, I understand what you mean--the combination of cheese and mustard can be unnappetizing. I do prefer Miracle Whip or mayo next to my cheese, but I don't mind milder blends of mustard such as honey mustard.
Personally, my favorite sandwich is peanut-butter and banana, which doesn't include cheese OR mustard!
To each his own.......

the only cheese sandwich I would eat is grilled cheese and I would never put mustard on grilled cheese.

cheese....? No ham or turkey or TOMATOES!
that is a sad sand witch! But back to the qa :) I like tomatoes at least or a little mayo~
and some times on cheese only some chips with on top of the cheese give it a crunch

Yes, I did. But lately I have had to lay off the mustard because it was giving me heartburn.
