the only way a woman could breastfeed an animal is if she is already breastfeeding a baby. note that there is usually only enough milk for one or two human babies and goat kids need more milk than a human woman could give. if she had to choose between a goat kid and her baby, i'm sure she would choose her baby.

i just don't see a logical situation where a woman would be given the decision to breastfeed an animal for it's survival.

also, say you had a baby and lived on a farm and your only animal alive was a goat that had a kid and the goat died and you needed the goat kid in order to survive, yourself? a goats digestive system would be able to survive on natural grass and wheat that is growing outside. goats have been known to eat aluminum cans for crying out loud. even if it is winter time, then kill the kid, dry the meat and save yourself, by god.

Do animals breast feed their young? Yes. Would I breast feed my baby? Yes. Think in terms of nature.

Let me guess--you're vegan?

Here's the deal..I don't mind vegetarians or vegans. I applaud you for your lifestyle. But don't sit here and try and convince me that "animals are valuable like humans" and "animals have feelings too".

A cow doesn't mind if you take it's milk. If it could talk it would probably tell you it's happy to share it's milk (that is, if cows really had feelings and could feel happiness).

This question is beyond weird...and no, I wouldn't breastfeed an animal.

It's been done for chimps. Check National Geographic.

I have to say though...what a weird question. The general thought, "Why does it matter to you?" came to mind.
