Probably the last as I am well over sixty. However, it is curious to note that throughout my life at different times, I have felt strongly that a new phase was beginning.
Just before I retired, my home of many, many years burned. I was furtunate in saving most things that mattered to me. (My cat and some antiques that came to America with my grandparents from the old country, and most of my library of books and music). I moved to a small city and took a very nice little apartment.
After a few months of adjusting, I woke up one day to find that the general "flavor" of life was somehow quite changed. I don't exactly know how to put it, but I have had that feeling a few times before. I do think that each person's life falls into phases that become perceivable only after time.

Not sure. I still feel young but with a bit of experience - sort of in the 'I work full time but never have enough money to do stuff' phase.
Other people my age have finished having kids, are on their second or third houses (I haven't got one) and all have pension plans! Ah well, I've just got my first proper, well paid job with extras so maybe I'll get there soon.

The experimental phase, I think.
When everything is new and exciting and I'm learning about everything and things are changing every day.

I'm at a turning point. I am the only one that can make me happy. Sure we all need love but it most start within ourselves. Then and only then can we love someone else and appreciate the love others have for us.
