I used to prefer Dads or A&W. I haven't seen either in a long
time. Maybe it's not that popular here anymore. I only drink
diet now too so that cuts my selection down on pops. When
they still had A&W drive ins out here, I preferred that to Dads.
Especially with ice cream to make a float.
When RC first started appearing in our stores, it had the
Royal Crown emblem on the necks of the bottles. Now we
tend to buy in the can. And usually sales, which usually are
Pepsi, or Coke.

RC means Royal Crown and A&W used to be the best when they had the root beer stands but now Hires is best if you can find it and then Mug.... made by pepsi

I love going to the A&W Rootbeer stand for a chilled mug of their rootbeer (remember the big barrel of rootbeer they would display in the window?) If I can't get that, I'll take their pop - I'd rank that as the best.

I stopped for an A&W on the way home from the doctors today! I don't drink sodas hardly at all any more, but thought it might taste good. I was OK.
