What are somethings you like to do? If you like to take pictures then let me suggest putting together a scrapbook to preserve those special pictures and memories. Or you could just take some pictures, and do some matting there are a great deal of matting techniques that are fun and easy to do. Does sewing interest you at all? If not or it it's something you've never really thought of, you could start sewing some quilts and maybe try putting them up for donations or fundraisers for a local church for families that are in need. Or how about a home for the elderly , you could maybe go and start a craft day once a week with them and find different things that they may love to do , and do it a long with them. Embroidry is fun , or you could needle point, there are some great needle points out there. Maybe knit, or crochet . What types of things interest you and build a hobby based off of that. IF you like to shop for purses, maybe start collecting various sizes, colors, shapes, etc... and finding something new you could do with them. If your into fashion maybe do some design work , find others that love your fashion sense and help teach them . Are you big on makeup ? Is that an everyday thing? If so why don't you help those who like make up or don't usually think about putting it on, show them the correct usage. The possibilities are endless if you just stick with things that interest you the most. Hope this helps.

I do lots of stuff on the Internet. You could start blogging. You could start your own website. I also collect things especially postcards. In the market town where I live in England I take photographs. I have a postcard of the market place dated around 1900 - so I want to take a photograph from the same place - so a comparison can be made from the 20th century to the 21st century. You can do a lot on Blogspot - including putting Youtube video on, photos and text. You can also get 500Mb of free space from http://pages.google.com That will allow you to do 5 websites. Click my picture and there is a link to my website - look at the gallery pages and see my photos. I also have a few scanned postcards on. There is a link to my Googlepages site. I also have a virtual 3D art gallery on my computer. I do jigsaws and add music. You listen to the music while you do the jigsaw. We have a jigsaw and art group in Yahoo groups if you would like to join. When you finish the jigsaw you display it in a cool 3D virtual art gallery on your computer. The software is free. But to do your own jigsaws with a lot of pieces you have to buy the full version - around $10! There is also a recipe on my site for making wine on the TIPS page - that is a good hobby and saves you money if you drink wine. I have a soup recipe on the same page! I hope you get a few ideas anyway - or just type hobbies into the search box?

Join a local club, or start one. You could start an SCA group (medieval re-creation,) though you'd want to get involved in your closet group first. Can't exactly create a group that's part of a larger organisation if you've never been to one of their events, but if you go to http://www.sca.org, you'll be able to find your closest group and they'll help you get going if you can find other interested people.
Start or join a hobby club of some kind. Knitting, quilting, or just "BYO craft project." It's more fun to sit around with others while working on your projects than to be sitting at home by yourself doing it. It doesn't matter who it is. It's good to mix with different age groups. You could garden. Growing flowers and veggies is a nice thing. Reading is always good. Sport, if you are into that kind of thing. Join the guides or scouts. Volunteer for something. Have a look at your town's website, library pinboard or the classifieds section of the local paper. Something is bound to be happening.

Get yourself some Powerisers! Me and my friend both got a pair (Just google 'powerisers' or 'pro-jumps' to find the best place for you to buy them) and i went from doing no exercise to doing 2 - 3 hours a day on these (not so much now though!). We both live in a dead end town and these are brilliant, i read that an hour on these is the same as 2 in the gym so it keeps you fit, everyone who sees them are amazed, and there is a lot of discipline involved.

Many towns have an official historian, usually someone who's old or very busy. Ask them if there is any research you can do for them, like wandering around looking for old hidden cemeteries, or sorting through boxes of old town records. It will make you feel more connected to your town and also give you something fun to do.
