Last time I checked it was seventeen. Of course that was when I was seventeen which was a good number of years ago, so the law may have changed.

There may be a difference between "leaving home" and actually achieving "emancipation":
"Actually, Texas does not have a law to give a minor “emancipation”. However, it does have a law called “Removal of Disability of Minority”, located in Chapter 31 of the Texas Family Code. A teenager (at least 16 years-old) can apply through a local court for certain types of legal restrictions to be removed so that a teen can act as an adult and make certain decisions on her own without parental involvement. 17 years old. While technically still a minor, and your parents can declare you a run-a-way at 17, law enforcement can choose to not enforce such a claim against a 17 yr old if that 17 yr old is demonstrating a legal independence.

as quickly as someone is able to run on their legs, they're unfastened to run away. no one cares in the event that they choose for to throw away their lives. pass forward and supply up college. no one is going to lose a minute of sleep over this. destroy your life , your destiny, your well-being, purely so which you'll be unfastened out of your "lame" and "uncool" mum and dad and family contributors...michael jackson has died, so no longer something concerns anymore..do what you opt for. this international is crap
