Well many people say the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" was the goriest horror film ever made, but you never really see anything like you would in today's films. Personally, I thought "Hostel" was the goriest I've ever seen...well, at least after the first half of the movie which is basically just porn. lol.

lifeless Alive does no longer be on the authentic of the gore record in my view. I enjoyed the action picture despite the fact that it somewhat wasn't between the goriest I somewhat have considered. for traditional gore, the unique Texas Chainsaw bloodbath, love that pass. One somewhat gory action picture i did no longer savour grew to become into abode of one thousand Corpes, The storyline bored my and it appeared like gore for gores sake.

It's pretty tough, maybe some of the more underground internet types like August Underground. Older films like Cannibal Holocaust come to mind as well. There there's like comedy horror like Dead Alive.

The early Rob Zombie movies are pretty gory. Not for the faint of heart. Event Horizon is scary, and pretty gory too. But, generally, the gorier, the lower the quality.
