I think we all have a tendency to be hard on ourselves at times. It can be a healthy thing if we keep it in balance. It motivates and drives us to improve and change....and ask for forgiveness if we've really blown something badly.
However, if we take it too far, that leads to frustration and depression. No one is perfect nor should we put such high expectations on ourselves that we forget to have FUN.
