I believe they rather have local public administration than centralized federal. That way minorities and majorities are served better, the tax dollars is channelized to the right places. The Federal government is to keep in check the local.
Which I think it makes sense because what NY city needs is not even close to what Dubois, Wyoming needs. People are different, population is different, well everything is different. So if NY want state health care they could have it locally and if Dubois Wyoming need more farmers aid they could do that too.

Yes it is , there are many things that Governments should adminster just not everything that they do today. I think most Libertarians would be okay if the states and not the federal government were running their own affairs. It might not be perfect but at least their would be more "local" control over laws and such. So people could "generally" live as they wish

no, very few people are libertarian and as a public administrator you are obligated to follow the dictates of the majority.
