Filipinos are ttotally flat out corrupt. Everyone from a Filipino fetus up to great great great grandparents. Whoever you put in Malacanang they are likely elected by corrupt Filipinos who elect a corrupt president based on wealth, color of skin, universities he or she went to.
There is no holier-than-thou in the Filipins. Even Jesus Christ gave up on the Filipinos. It's better to outsource the governmeent, farm-out police.

its hopeless, migration is the only solution to filipinos who wants to live a better, healthy and peaceful life...
now to answer your question... there will always be fierce opposition whoever sits as the president,, there will be no end to corruption, violence and discrimination. Poor will always be poor, rich will be richer, probinsyanos will always be discriminated and filipinos would rather watch TV than work..filipinos would be more involved in a celebrities life than theirs. English comprehension will get worse due to texting lingo. Sad but True !!!

i always stay optimistic..especially for the 2010 pres elections.
my closest bet would be Panfilo Lacson.
he did well during his time as the MMDA chair. definitely less kotong. & that's what we need right now. lessen corruption.

its hard to bet...because we dont really know politicians intention. I just hope its someone who can unite everyone to work together as a whole..not critizised not mocked. People need to cooperate not just attend to rallies.

i think the person that can order our country properly...and a person that is not boastful and can be opinioned...bec. some president think that they are the gratest...
but in our case today its hard to find a person that kinda like that...
