Honest to god, I hate it when people get stupid tattoos that they will regret. The only tattoos anyone should get are the ones that define their life experiences, like their military service, alma mater, country of origin. I hate it when people tattoo their bodies with all kinds of bizarre religious icons, grim reapers and all that. It just looks like one big soupy mess after a while.

I wish tattoos were regulated to save stupid people from themselves.

grownups can do with themselves what they wish, as long as they do not harm others.
perhaps before one starts with controlling what adults do to their bodies, one should look at what adults do to the bodies of helpless children in the name of religion, namely circumcision.

Maybe oppinionated annoying people should be regulated to keep their thoughts to themselves.
You have no idea that what tattoo youre looking at was put there for no reason other than to look cool. You are just being mean because you don't like the way it looks. Other than clearly offensive/obscene material that was intended to P/O someone I would consider that the tattoo is dumb. But if someone walks around with a grim reaper clutching a swastika, you have no idea if they just like the way it looks or if they had to get it to keep from getting killed, or if it represents some long lost relative or friend.

What if you were the artist that created Sponge Bob and wanted to tattoo Sponge Bob on your body, but regulations prevented you from doing so? Regulations set out to save stupid people from themselves often restrict everyone else in the pursuit of legitimate things.

I say let the stupid people live with grim reaper tattoos. Serves them right. In the meantime, I'll educate my children about the importance of waiting until they're SURE about it before doing something permanent.

I do not have a tattoo and will neverr get one. But there are enough laws and regulations as it is without regulating tattooing. I have a brother in law (older) who thinks men should not be able to grow thier hair past a certain length so that is how it starts one thing then another. so i am willing to put up with people putting things on thier bodies that look stupid or terrible just to maintain the rest of our freedoms.

You have views on both sides, but you have a few more that are left minded. I would say you are independent who leans a little to the left. Because you want the government to regulate more things, which is a left view, and the bodily harm thing you mentioned is another form of government regulation is why I say you lean a bit left.

Tattoos like many other things are a form of expression for people desiring to stand out, I am old fashioned i think tatoos and multiple peircings are just gross, but it is a free country and if they want to do it they should be able to, however that doesnt mean that employers must hire them, or that mcdonalds has to let them in the door

I dont think so, its a form of art and self expression, I mean religious icons and grim reapers may mean nothing to you but so much more to them its in the eye of the beholder.

they can't be regulated and what not, it's a act of expression.

I think you have to grow up and realize that other people are different and not everybody views the world as you do. if you can't handle it, you need to take a step back, sit in a quiet room, and think about the differences in the world, and think about what it'd be like without them. Would you still be happy (or in your case miserable)? People like you hurt society by judging and hating. People need to chill.

Just something to think about

No, They should not be banned, However, They should not be removed for the reason to not go off the handle and just get anything at the spur of the moment.

Yeah I dont particuarly like it either but I guess if people want to do it then they can
If its like for a personal reason like rip dad or sumin then thats fine but I hate when people cover they're back in death and fire motorbike crap and then regret it when they are like 40 and have it removed but hey its their life and their choice....
