I'm among those stuck with the same avatar, but at least it's showing up. I changed my mailbox avatar, came back here expecting to see it and... Nope! Same ol' avatar as always. The change was made a couple of weeks ago, and it hasn't shown up here.
Isn't an old one preferable to none at all?

THANK YOU!! It's driving me bananas too! Here I thought maybe it was my computer. They spend all this energy to give us a new format, which I hate and so do most other people, and they can't even make people's avatars shoe up anymore?!?!
AND people's names are cut off too. Before if you put your cursor over it tit would give you the whole name, but not anymore! WAY annoying!~!!

When that happens, or in my case, the wrong avatar showing up (not picked as primary) it usually means someone at Yahoo is trying to "IMPROVE" Q&A while everyone is online..
