The best marriage advice I've received is - Put one another first in all things.

What do we do to keep the fire going? After almost 20 years, we still have "dates". Dinner, a show, dressing up...and he still brings me flowers before we go.

Problems.......oh, that's a tough one. Men and women deal with problems in much different ways. Men get mad quickly and get over being mad quickly, and women can stay mad for a long time. Open communication is key, and saying to oneself: "I am angry at him/her, but I still love him/her." Let the other make amends when mistakes are made. Then ACCEPT those amends, forgive, and move on.

Favorite thing to do? He asks me to crawl on his lap while he is in his reclining chair after dinner sometimes. We snuggle and whisper love-things.

The best relationship advice i ever got was to not have sex before marrage becasuse if you do it, then if you descover he's not the one, then it's gonna mess up everything. You better be safe than sorry.

To keep the fire going, you must spend time to get to know the person. Then go form there.

The best method is to move on and find someone else. That's what i did when my ex was cheating on me.

Do something romantic or do something original like bowling.

Hope this helps

Read the book, "The Five Love Languages"... you both should. Do you know how your significant other expresses love?? Is it touch, gifts, quality time, words of affirmation or acts of service. Communication is the absolute best way to keep things alive... know what the other one dreams about, fantasizes about and wishes you know about them... it is an exciting path to take with someone you trust.
