I understand your dilemma, I have Drew Brees too! I'm starting Brees, for a few reasons. First, I (like you probably) drafted Brees in the first three rounds. I have to believe that he's too talented of a QB to be playing this poorly. The Saints have also played some tough defences in Indy, TB and Tenn. Yes, Tenn is a tough defence, remember they almost beat Indy, and the great Peyton Manning only passed for one TD against them. I believe Vince Young controls the clock, and takes a lead early, forcing Joey Harrington to have to throw early. Harrington is serviceable when called upon to make conservative passes and play within himself. He can't handle pressure, make big plays and be counted on to win a game. He couldn't with the Lions, and that's why he flopped there.

Another thing to keep in mind, is that this is not the same dominant Carolina defence. It doesn't look like Delhomme will play this week, which leaves David Carr as qb. This will probably keep the Panthers D on the field a lot. The defence has already been accused of having no heart by one of their own DT's. I think at this point the Titan's defence is a lot stronger than the Panthers. Tennessee's defence is ranked #9, Carolina's is ranked #23. The hawks are away and the saints are at home, I think this gives another advantage to Brees over Harrington.

Finally, I have to think that Brees is way too talented and Sean Payton is too good of a coach to not have made adjustments over the bye week to make this Saints team better.

Of course this is fantasy, and all the analysis in the world could go out the window, but at least you have my point of view. Good luck with your season. I'm hoping Brees rebounds too!

Harrington is the safer pick. Tennessee has been giving up a lot of yardage in the air.
